What this means in practice
The booking links and widgets on this site go to GetYourGuide, a licensed online travel agency. If you book after clicking one, GetYourGuide pays me a small percentage of the tour price. You pay exactly what you would pay going to GetYourGuide directly — the commission comes out of their side, not yours.
How it affects the recommendations
It doesn’t. Ratings and review counts on this site come from GetYourGuide itself, including the unflattering ones, and where a trip has a weak point — a photo upsell, a weather-dependent snorkel stop, an early pickup — the reviews say so. Steering you into the wrong trip for a commission would be a bad trade; this site works because people trust the numbers.
